Terms of service
These terms apply to every use of Hubbery by a company. They are written to be read; where they are unclear, we want to hear it.
Last updated: September 2026
The service
Hubbery is software with which a company has customer questions answered by email, chat and phone, partly by AI and partly by its own staff. Hubbery answers only from knowledge the company has approved itself, and within the autonomy the company sets per topic.
Responsibility for answers
The company decides which knowledge is approved and how much the AI may do on its own. Answers the AI sends are sent on behalf of the company. Hubbery does its best to route uncertain answers to a human, but cannot guarantee every answer is correct. The company keeps the audit trail and the settings in its own hands.
Price and payment
You pay a monthly platform fee and, above the included allowance, per evidenced resolution to which Hubby made a substantive contribution, independently or together with a colleague. Unresolved cases and cases resolved solely by a human have no resolved-question charge. Extra call minutes, SMS and WhatsApp are charged separately against prepaid credit. Current rates are on the pricing page. Extra resolved questions are invoiced monthly in arrears; payment within fourteen days.
Data and privacy
The company remains the owner of its data. Hubbery processes it as a processor under the data processing agreement, which is part of these terms. Hubbery does not use one customer’s data to train models for other customers.
Availability
We aim for 99.5% availability per month, measured on the API. Planned maintenance is announced at least 48 hours in advance. For an outage longer than four consecutive hours, we credit that month’s platform fee pro rata.
Cancellation
Cancellable monthly at the end of the current month. After termination you can export your data for thirty days; after that we delete it.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount the company paid Hubbery in the twelve months before the event. We are not liable for indirect damage. This limitation does not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness.
Governing law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in [city].
