Keep short customer questions and follow-up together
Use SMS for short customer messages and follow-up contact. Hubbery brings the question into the Inbox and can answer or prepare follow-up according to your knowledge and settings.

Short messages with a clear purpose
A customer can ask a question by SMS or respond to an earlier message. Hubby can request missing information and answer from approved knowledge. A colleague takes over when a request needs review or authority that is not available.
Follow-up after a phone call
Ask callers to confirm the number for follow-up. Depending on your settings, the message is prepared, submitted for approval or sent automatically. Hubby does not promise an action or deadline that has not been agreed.
The case stays central
An SMS can build on a related call or other communication. Linking uses available case context; the same phone number does not mean every question always belongs to one case. The Inbox shows who handles the next step.
Configure the number and usage
SMS requires a supported number and provider configuration. Check which numbers and countries are suitable. Incoming and outgoing SMS have separate rates and use prepaid credit. SMS is a text channel; photos and videos are not presented as supported here.
Connection, settings and costs
The available connection, knowledge and permissions determine what Hubby can do for your organisation. Channels are part of Hubbery; capacity, message usage and phone conditions are explained on the pricing page.
Questions about this channel
Does SMS work with every phone number?
Availability depends on the number, country and provider configuration. Check this during setup: a number that supports calls does not automatically support the same messaging functions.
What happens to a long message?
The provider may divide long SMS messages into several segments. Check actual usage and the applicable billing unit during setup and on the pricing page.
Do I know whether a message was received?
A provider status helps track delivery, but does not prove that the customer read the message or that the question was resolved.
